SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be sassa status check mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area daily. The service level made for intervention ordeals a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to enable the servicing of all consumers sassa status check and improve entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
